Welcome to The Lantern, a casual Asian fusion restaurant and bar in the heart of Malvern.

Created by the owners of Mount Pleasant Hotel, we invite you to experience flavours from Thailand and India in our dishes.
​​Our Vision
Our team wanted to create a casual, dog-friendly dining space where both locals and visitors to Malvern can come and enjoy the finest Asian-fusion food for lunch and dinner.
The Lantern can accommodate over 100 diners and can be a place for not only casual dining but also a spot for exciting events and team-building activities.
From cocktail-making to cookery classes, there is so much in the pipeline… so watch this space!

The Lantern Terrace
If you’re out walking the dog, or pottering about the town, our outdoor terrace area is the perfect place to stop off for a delicious meal or a drink whilst enjoying the stunning views of the Malvern Hills.

Monday's we are closed
Bank Holidays: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
Tuesday to Saturday 11:00 am to 9:30 pm
Sunday's 11:00 am to 5:00 pm

We are perfectly located for a post or pre-walk drink or snack! This is why we’re proud to be recognised as being a dog friendly, and walker friendly establishment.
